Who takes this class
Texas courts usually order DWI Intervention after a repeat DWI offense. Your court order or probation terms say which class you need.
If your order names the 12-hour DWI Education class instead, this program is not the one you need, and we don't offer the 12-hour class. If you're not sure, ask your attorney or probation officer before you book.
How the class runs
- 32 hours, taught live on Zoom in sessions of 2 to 3 hours.
- Texas allows at most two sessions a week, so the program runs over several weeks.
- At least two one-on-one sessions with your instructor, plus an exit interview at the end.
- Up to two excused absences can be made up.
- You fill in a registration form before the first session starts.
- Your camera stays on the whole time, except during breaks.

Your certificate
Texas completion certificates are printed on numbered state forms and can't be emailed. We mail yours within 5 days of finishing. Texas also requires us to send your certificate to the Department of Public Safety and to notify your probation department, which we do within 10 working days.
